Leech (and cheap SOB) that I am, I wonder if SKS could look in the 1920
Census for Pittston, Luzerne Co, PA., for either or both of the
individuals named in the subject. These are my wife's paternal
grandparents, about whom we're only now learning anything substantial.
Raimondo (alt. Raymond) CALA would've been approx 26 in 1920, probably
employed as a miner or laborer, possibly living with his father,
Salvatore. My understanding is that he may have naturalized as a
result of service in WWI, but he may also be shown as an Italian alien.
Salvatrice (aka Katie) BORRUSO/BURRUSO would've been about 17 in 1920
and most likely living with her parents, Michele and Rosa.
The BORRUSO/BURRUSO tribe arrived in the US circa 1903, so may show in
the 1910 Census, likely for Pittston, although I really do not know.
Sincere thanks to any/all who may reply.
