Bartram Street Philadelphia Pennsylvania

I have an ancester that lived on 1544 Bartram Street in in 1876. I
have googled the street and I get a Bartram Avenue that is west to the
Schuylkill river a long the Delaware River. Near the current airport.

Would this be the Bartram Street of the 1870's?

Maybe and maybe not. Do you have a census record of the person? There could
be multiple streets listed on the same sheet and you could compare those
streets with a current neighborhood map.

Unfortunately I have several census records from the 1870, with the

people that I have in the family. I have always worked on the theory
that if I had four points of correlation I had a match.

With this family there are three and possibly four families with four
members with the same names and of approximately the right ages. I was
hoping to use the street as a screen.

Keith: Did you try googling it on google books? Might have a Philly
City Directory there. Usually backs of directories have sections on
how the streets run. Or does Ancestry have Philly directories?

No. Bartram Street was renamed North Woodstock

The 1500 block is between West Jefferson and Redner Street.

Anybody can win, unless there happens to be a second entry.
