Hi,
a half-cousin og my gr-grandfather's was:
Wigo Harald Theodor Stegmann,
born 1843 in Odense, Denmark
died after 1892.
He was a 'stone-printer' in Odense, went bankrupt in 1892 and ran away with
his lover,
a Dora, whom he called his wife on the passengerlist.
They went from Hamburg to New York with the S/S Victoria Ausguste in May
1892.
They had two sons with them:
Wigo and Harald, mayby born 1884 and 1885.
I think they were her sons, mayby from a marriage, or they might be
illegitemate.
I would like to hear about what happend to this 'family' after they came to
New York, the destination they had given for the passengerlist, and to know
about relatives in the US.
I have quite a bit on Wigo's family in Denmark.
