Ancestry OBIT lookup please?

Legg inn av mousepotato » 06 mar 2007 20:25:05

Can someone please find the obit of my grandfather H. R. (Harold Robert)
Hjort, Sr., who died in Florida (either Tampa or St. Petersburg) in 1963.
He was born in MA to Axel and Selma Hjort. I pray this is enough info, if
more is needed please respond.
Thank you SO much!

This is all I could find. No obit. Maybe someone else will have more luck.
There's some divorce info on ancestry too.

America's Obits & Death Notices doesn't go back that far. Of 33 Florida
papers, they have few excerpted from before 1990, and only two as far
back as 1983. No joy.

There's a Rootsweb site that has the cemetery info for him here. (In the
Royal Palm Cemetery)

http://www.rootsweb.com/~flpgs/pgs-cemetery-indexes.htm

It says that it is an index only and full info is available by request. I
didn't do a big search around the site to see how to get ahold of them, but
it may be as easy as a quick email.
