A couple of days ago my server regurgitated a lot of spam going way back, so
that there were about 20 spam messages in some not very active newsgroups.
Since then a lot of newsgroups have become inaccessible -- I've seen nothing
in soc.genealogy.britian, for example, but I still see messages in
alt.genealogy.
If anyone is reading this in soc.genealogy.britain, please let me know -- I
should be able to read the reply in alt.genealogy, if not in SGB.

There have been quite a few messages in sgb - about the usual number, I
would say. Must be your server. Check Google groups to see what you've
missed.
