Re: Fero redux
I tried to find something on ancestry and familysearch but nothing came up.
Just the 1920 info that you already have. Perhaps you should join a group
for Buffalo research and see if anyone can direct you to churches,
cemeteries, funeral homes, or genealogy societies in the Buffalo area.
You might also want to try this. I don't know how NY works but in other
states I've been able to request a search for a death certificate of
ancestors with only minimal info. If you can give them the full name, date
of birth, your relationship and a range of years to search, they may be able
to do it. It usually costs a little more than if you know the exact date of
death (they may charge a couple dollars extra for each year you have them
search) but it might be worth contacting the New York vital records. Try
this link:

Hope that helps,

What other information do you have on him? What city in Canada did he
come from? Names and dates of birth of his children? Date of death
and place of death for his wife? Occupation? Would you happen to know
if he was married more than once?
