I am looking for info on my great uncle, William A. Normile, brother
of my grandfather. I recently found that he died in SF on Nov. 17,
1930, and his body was shipped back to Chicago for burial.
Can anyone look up a death notice in the newspaper for me? I am
especially interested to know if he had a family?
Thanks

Re: Death in San Francisco
John,
Do you have a date of birth for William? I didn't find any death info on
him but I do have census info that fits. I can send the images but I'd like
to be sure that I have the correct guy.
Either post it here or email me directly at a_spry at yahoo dot com.

Also Catherine nee (unreadable) died Dec. 6 1930, mother etc. as
above. Resided at 6636 (possibly Ingleside), Holy Cross Church and
then Mt. Olivet also. {Entry is hard to read because the page is

Re: Death in San Francisco
John,
OK, I'll send the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census images to you. As someone else
already posted, he was married to an Isabelle E. but they did not have any
children that I have been able to find.
I also found what I believe to be John, Henry and William in 1880 living
with a Mott family. Is there a connection to them? There was no
relationship indicated on the census. Do you want that image?
I'm sending the first three to you off list. I wish I could help more.

Thanks for the reply.
Born Feb. 1879
I have the census info from his time in Chicago. But I have no
information related to his time in S.F. I do not know if he lived
there, or died during a visit. Also trying to find out if he was
maried or had kids.
