GENEALOGY & LIBERTY SHIP HISTORY

Legg inn av Bud » 14 okt 2006 15:23:28

Here are a couple samples of a "Liberty ship history".

These examples may be something that you wish to interweave into the family
history if a family member happened to be on one of these "Ugly Ducklings"
of WW II.
Then again you may not be the least bit interested......but that is ok...at
least it is available if you so wish.

I wish you well

Hi Bud,

See you're still helping folks with boat histories, etc.

New Orleans turned out a couple of those Liberty Ships during WWII.
Delta Shipyards was one of the larger producers of Liberty Ships, if
memory serves. And we had Andrew Higgins' shipyard which turned out
Landing Craft by the handfulls.

Glad you're still at it!
