WW1 Registration Card

Legg inn av Doug Chadduck » 23 sep 2006 16:39:06

I just discovered that Ancestry.com shows a WW1 Registration card for my
grandfather Guy Arthur Chadduck Buchanan, Stutsman Co. ND 1917-1918

I'd love if some kind soul might have a spare moment and could send me a
copy. Above addy is good.

Thanks so much.

Wonderful! Thank you so much. Do you or does anyone know if the witness,
Ralph Wagner in this case, was an "official" involved in the
registration process or just happened to be who signed saying grandpa
was who he was. Ralph Wagner is a family in-law from back then.

Thanks again for the image.

You're welcome.

With looking at the card at ancestry.com at 200%, it says that Ralph
Wagner is the registrar. However, I looked at about 10 different cards
from that county, and there was a different registrar for each one, even
ones done the same day as your granfather's. You might have some luck
finding out more about the registrar's for that through a local
historical society? For what it's worth, Ralph Wagner signed as the
registrar for his own registration card <grin>.
