Welcome to all the new members!
I just wanted to say hi to all the new people who've joined. I'm assuming
that most of you are here because of the problems at Genes Reunited. I
personally had never heard of them before someone posted about it yesterday.
Anyway, I hope everyone will post something about themselves like what
surnames and areas you are researching etc. If you have a specific request
for a certain census look up etc., just post it and I'm sure someone will be
able to help.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

I'm a stay-at-home mother of four. I am available to do online look ups

with translation help if needed. I'm also pretty good at reading the old
manifests and census records if you're having trouble with the handwriting.
Researching Primarily: Farbotnik, Kinasz, Kowalik, Placko, Nast, Minke,
Garbe, Mass, Whitlock, Krebs, Barrett, Steelman, Price, Spry, Fear, Frick,
Federovitch, Chekan, Yurchision, Drutarovsky (plus lots of others)
Main Areas of Interest: Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, former Galicia,
Ukraine, Poland, Germany (plus lots of others)

snipped...
Hi Bill,
Feel free to email me the images and I'll take a look at them. I have some cousins in Germany and Poland that I correspond with so I can always ask them to take a look at them too if I can't figure it out.
I've got a few things to do and then I have to get my daughter ready for kindergarten but I'll be able to check my messages after lunch.

You should definitely ask in one of the german geneaology groups
- I've gotten good help on soc.genealogy.german
Post the kind of help you need, names, dates, and whatever else
you know, and if you have an image of the document online, post a
link to it. It may take several days to get a response, it's not
instantaneous.
And if you DON't have images online, consider a free image
hosting service like PhotoBucket or FotoPic.net - makes it so
much easier to share images for analysis.

Thank you Wojtek. Are there any sites in English? My Polish is rather

like a listing of my great grandparents, but where is Pieniazkowo, and
how do I access this record?
Thanks,
Bill

Have you got my message ?
Site :

place in frame "Miejscowosc" and click "Pokaz" [Show]. Pieniazkowo is 5
km North from Nowe.
