Hi again everyone,
Would some kind soul please send me the image of the ship passenger
list for the Northumberland arriving in New York in August 1853. I
hear it is in the Germans to America book and database.
Looking for Ziehr( I think it is misspelled Liehr) and
Shoemaker(Shumacher)
Very grateful for all the help everyone is,
Terry in Ohio

Re: Image needed of passenger list
OOPs, I found out the misspelling is Lear, not Leihr.

Re: Image needed of passenger list
Have you tried http://www.castlegarden.org ? At one time the
images were available to copy to your computer. I don't
know if they are now.
By the way I did find some Liehr in 1853 but not on the
Northumberland.
Did any of your Schumakers settle in Saskatchewan at some
time?
take care

Re: Image needed of passenger list
Hi Liz,
I don't think they settled up there, not the close ones anyway.
I'll try castlegarden, thank you.
