Seeking personal timeline software

Legg inn av Gjest » 19 des 2005 03:29:53

I'd like to create a timeline of my life, for the purpose of personal
memory. I'm getting older, and would like to record the information before
it blurs too much.

I'd like to be able to show several main "Streams" in relation to each other:

Deaths/Births.
Girlfriends.
Education.
Work.
Residence.
Injury/Surgery.
Significant current events (As entered by me).
Significant Personal Events.

Can anyone suggest such software? An excel plug-in of some type would be
ideal. I don't need any advanced features, such as an interface to external
"current events" data.

Try Legacy:

The Chronology View is what you are searching.

You might take a look at http://www.livingtime.com/ It seems to be
just what you need and a free trial is available.

I've been having a look at that, and from what I've seen so far, it certainly
seems to be able to do what the original poster was asking for.

I'm still looking, though, because I want something that will go further -- I
want something that will keep information about people as well, and link
people to different events in various capacities.

Clarence, I havn't had a chance to try to software yet, but it does look
very promising.
