Request for Census lookup: 1900-1930 (Edith K. Flathe, see m

[oops, forgot to reset the From: to a working email address.]

Hello,

I recently received new information about a person I am researching.

Edith M. Kirby was born in Sunbury, PA ca. 1875, and appears in the
1880 Census for Sunbury (her father is Joseph F. Kirby.)

I recently located her father's civil war pension records, and it
lists her as the person who settled his pension record when he died in
mid-1919. She is listed in various parts of the 1919 pension record
as:

"Edith K. Flathe, widow, of Riverdale, Prince George's County, MD".

During the 1900 to 1919 time period she may have also lived in
Baltimore, Sunbury (PA), Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. (and
possibly VA across the Potomac.) I don't know when she married.

If some kind soul with access to Ancestry.Com or other online
databases can check to see if she appears anywhere from 1900 to 1930
(especially the Census records), I'd appreciate it. Of course, it is
possible she remarried after 1919, and in this case it will be harder
to track her. Fortunately the 'Flathe' surname is very rare, so if
she appears anywhere with that surname, should be easy to spot.

Thanks!

The name Flathe only appears twice on the US Census, in 1870 and in 1910.
Neither are connected to Edith K. (My search did not include the 1880
census).

The 1900 Census has four Edith Kirby's listed, none are the correct age or
area,

Thanks for the feedback! It'll take more digging to find out about
this Flathe family.

BTW, I used the HeritageQuest database to look this up. Our county library
makes the database available to library card holders at no charge. They also
claim that many libraries link to HeritageQuest. Might be worth your while
looking into.
