I don't understand what you want to know.

Under normal circumstances, there is no way for the US to know if/when
he returned to Russia. To investigate the possibility of abnormal
circumstances creating a record, you need to know where in the US to
look, which involves knowing where in the US he lived/stayed.

It is very unlikely that he had fare to return to Russia.

Please send any information to me, it would be greatly appreciative.

Answers are posted to the newsgroup and normally not sent by email.

Hi Dariusz

Welcome to the newsgroup! I looked at his Ellis Island record yesterday.
There is a US census every 10 years, so if he arrived in 1911 and stayed
in the US, he might be in the 1920 US census. I saw 3 people there
yesterday in the 1920 census with that name, but none of them were the
right age. I use what is called the Heritage Quest service for the
census and was waiting to see if someone using another service might
have found the right person for you.

Regards

Bob

Sorry I can't be specific but I have read that American passports are on
microfilm and the LDS also has copies on film that can be borrowed. Of
course this might not apply to a person that was not a citizen yet but it
could be worth a look.

This comes from the ship's manifest. Wladyslaw Lukowski who arrived in 1911
was 38 years old. His wife's name was Marj. Lukowska and he was from
Zajecryce? Wolia? He was travelling with a man named Stanislaw Fleizer? who
was 25 and from the same town. They were going to Laurel Hill, NY where
Wladyslaw had a brother(in-law?) name Francis Islewski and Stanislaw had a
brother(in-law?) named Josef Lukowski.

Laurel Hill is in Queens County, New York. I looked at the 1920 census and
only found a Joseph Lukowski living there.

That person was 39 years old in 1911. Is that right? Have you decided
that was him because of his age and because you know his age from
another source? A "Stanislaw Gleizer?" who I think was his
brother-in-law was with him on the ship.

Would you please tell me …where must.. how must I`m search anything

Please tell us if you are absolutely certain that is your person and
why.

:( For all I know its returned by Russia… when? From, where? I don`t
know

And that was really Poland under Russian control as we know.

Please send any information to me, it would be greatly appreciative.

Let us know about the above.

Actually, it looked like Fleiszer to me but I could be wrong of course. In
Polish the "sz" would be pronounced "sh" in English. The wife's name may be
Marja with the "j" being pronounced like a "y".

All of the other suggestions thus far seem like good places to start.

It is much better than our Polish. :-)

It is an abbreviation for Latter-day Saints. They are a large church and have many records for
genealogy on microfilm.

Rick It truth but has died in (to) Lokacze(Ukraina) 1927

Then you already know that he came back to Europe?

Bob It my great- grandfather

Then that word means the father of the father of your father to you?

I know it from he daughter which else it
lives birdh 1924 Zajeczyce

But she is no longer living. Do you have her papers? Is there a paper for when Wladyslaw was
born?

It could year but I do not know? It could year 10 ???

If you say Ellis Island could be 1910, then you are not certain that the person in 1911 is the
right person? There are other people with the same name. It is important to choose the right
person.

If they can maintains some documents is Laurel Hill ? where search ?
where write ?

It is possible only guess :(

It is most important to first find the right Lukowski, Wladyslaw. If we choose the wrong person,
you will get only bad information.

I salute all

Best greetings to Poland from the US!

Bob
