MN Death certificates

I need information. On the information listed to order a death certificate
it states that the mothers name and date of birth is not indexed. If I
order the certificate will that information be on it. I don't want to spend
the money if it isn't. Thanks to anyone who can tell me.

There are no guarantees in that regard. As an example, that website shows <not
indexed> for date & place of birth & mother's maiden name for a 1911 death.
However, I have the DC right here in front of me and it gives a date & place of
birth & maiden name of mother. As far as I can tell, you pay your money and take
your chances.

EM Scheeler,

Where were are you looking? What is the link where it states the above?

I'm no expert, but they have gotten pickier than past years as far as
the person who is ordering one.

I do know you need the person's complete date of death (month, day, year).

You no longer get the microfiche copy, but rather a blue and reddish
form, what I call "national-type form". I am not sure just how much
information you get.

Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.
