37 - 47 (?) I see Daniel and Ellen (H/W) Kenifick (Kinifick). Who are the
children? I cannot read line 39 at all. I think the next two are Julia, DOB
April ???? and Mary March ????. The remainder appear to be lodgers / boarders.
If they are I may not need their information. If they appear to be extended
family please tell me what you see. TIA
Line 39 is Annie, date of birth is Sept 1887, aged 12
Then there are Nellie (that's what it looks like to me), date of birth
April 1893, aged 7.
Last is Mary, date of birth is March, 1899, aged 1.
all three children are shown born in MA.
The rest of the household are all shown as being lodgers.
F.Y.I., I think I have found them on the 1920 Census, but most of the children
are all born after 1900 and legible. On HQ 1920 > MASSACHUSETTS > NORFOLK
NORWOOD, Series: T625 Roll: 723 Page: 152 line 2 - 8. What is Nellie last
name? Waldron, Waldion. At any rate she is listed as Single, yet a daughter of
Daniel and Ellen Kenifick. Maybe Daughter in law or a widow? Any guesses?
Nellie's last name looks like Waldron to me. I don't know why she's
listed as single -- most likely that's what someone in the household
told the enumerator, but I'd say she's the Nellie from the 1900 census.
I like that the year of immigration for both Daniel and Ellen is 1890,
yet Annie, their oldest, who was born in 1887, was shown on the 1900
census as being born in Massachusetts.
Hope that helps,
Cathy
