I'm looking to find Arthur E. Lund or one of his descendants. All I
know of him is that he lived in Cleveland Heights Ohio in the 1940s
and is descendant from Richard Aldrich (circa 1770s) I found his name
and address in a letter he wrote to the Rhode Island State Archives.
Does anyone out there have any ideas about contacting him or a
decendant? I've tried the obvious phone listings etc.
thnaks

I feel a little silly pointing out the math, but you HAVE done it,
haven't you? I mean -- check the 1930 census and find out how old he
was. There may be a most-excellent reason he doesn't have a phone listing.
If that's like the case, and he's not on the SSDI, check the newspapers
that serve Cleveland Hgts for the period between the date on the letter
and his 100th birthday. You should find an obit and obits list
survivors and one of the named survivors may still be living and have a
listed phone number.
Other than that -- contact the newspaper in Cleveland Hgts and place a
display ad for information about him with regard to a letter he wrote RISA.
Good luck.

Also, you should not restrict your search to just Cleveland Heights,
Ohio. There are a large number of suburbs around Cleveland. Arthur E.
Lund or one of his descendants may have moved to one of the other
nearby suburbs.
There are 15 LUNDs in the Cleveland area phone book.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer (newspaper) is a place to start.

Re: Cleveland Heights Ohio...
Not to jump on the math part, but you might also try a search of the Ohio
Death Index. You can access this through Ancestry. If he is deceased, then
depending on the year you might find him there.
