Hi

Does anyone know if there are searchable indexes to obituary notices and
cremations in Vancouver BC? I'm especially interested in about 1940
onwards.

many thanks

Vancouver deaths between 1872 and 1984 can be searched via the British
Columbia vital event indexes at:

The Vancouver Sun will search its archives for obit notices for five
days after death and send you a photocopy by snail mail, for IIRR $12
plus taxes. (I recently tried this and it worked.)
