I think I see the error. One of the posts stated it is a jave pop up window.
Make sure your jave is installed / activated and / or up to date.

Have to shut down for the night now. This is going to haunt me in my sleep.
There has to be some way to fix this!
Thanks again,

OK ... this is getting to me big time. First of all I thank you all for
baring with me on this one ... Here's the exact thing that is happening
for
me.
I have image on screen. I go up to "file", "save as" but when trying to
do
it that way it says "the web page could not be saved to the selected
location".
There is now a "save" icon above the image to the right ... third icon
in
.... after "Help" and "Share". I click on that. A window comes up with
"save options". You have a choice to click on a radio button to "save
image
to" either the computer or my ancestry. I click on my computer option.
Click "OK". Nothing happens. Nothing at all. No window allows me to
chose
to where I can save it or to name the file. Nada! Nothing!
I want to get back to my old viewer but cannot do so. I have no "go
back"
program on this computer that is running on Windows 98SE. I can't get
in
touch with Ancestry. Have tried the help files. No help on this issue.
I
would advise everyone not to download this new program or beware! You
may
lose the whole option of saving any census images again. Maybe you will
be
able to if I am seeing others can but I cannot. How I wish I could
start
this day over again.
Thanks,
Nutty ... and getting worse!
I tried saving to ANCESTRY and it brought up that page where I have
saved things a while ago. The subject line was blank (because I was not
given any option to name it with the person's name in the census).
I tried to save the image to DESKTOP, it seemed to do so, but it is not
on my desktop.
