Ancestry.com and 1930 census
Anyone know if it is out for them yet?
I can get access thru a library, in library only, but it is not worth
the trip unless the 1930 census is out. Heritage Quest does not have
it yet. Of course THAT I have here at home!

I have accessed the 1930 census on Ancestry. What name are you looking for?

Re: Ancestry.com and 1930 census
Kenneth Baldwin and Gladys Uphoff both in South Dakota
They would both be KIDS, not parents.

Heritagequest does have it, its only the **index** that is unfinished. So
you can look at the images using the 'Browse' search option and fill in
state, county and if known, location. Takes time, specially if your
connection is slow, but it is doable. I've been working my way through the
Washington images for a week now.

Re: Ancestry.com and 1930 census
Kenneth Baldwin and Gladys Uphoff, both in South Dakota. Unfortunatley
though they would BOTH be kids and I do not know the parents names.
If it is too much trouble I can get it thru the library, I will just
make time to sit for awhile!

Re: Ancestry.com and 1930 census
To f/f George:
On Feb 26 I e-mailed you the images you requested on alt.genealogy, but the
e-mails bounced as the incorrect e-mail address. I then posted on this
board that the e-mails had bounced, and for you to advise me with your
correct e-mail address.
I have never heard back from you, and now you are re-posting your request.
Did you not read my posts, or what? I spent quite some time looking those
images up, saving them, and then trying to e-mail them to you. Apparently
you ignored my efforts.
I am glad that Bill posted them on the board for you. Apparently you were
not interested enough in the information to check my to see my posts, or you
just didn't want to give me your correct e-mail address, which I find very
strange, since you were asking a favor, and I was trying to help you.
