I would appreciate a look-up for an obituary in a Youngstown newspaper
regarding Matilda Anderson, who died in Youngstown, Mahoning County,
Ohio, USA on the 3rd of October 1936.

Thomas J. Steed, who commiteed
suicide by hanging when arrested
on a charge of drunk and disorderly
conduct at Fort Wayne yesterday
has been identified as having been
a Lima man. He lived at the city
limits on Leland avenue and has a
sister and a daughter residing here
The sister is Mrs. Lotte Quinn and the
daughter, Mrs. Raymond Dull.
Both left last night to have the body
brought here for burial.
First clue to the identification of
Steen as belonging to Lima came
thru Dr. J. J. Murphy who after
reading the account of the man's
death in Fort Wayne in The Lima
Daily News got into communication
with Sheriff Eley who had been notified
by the Indiana authorities to
locate Lima relatives if possible.
Thru information given by Dr. Murphy,
Mrs. Lottie Quinn, sister of the
deceased was located and informed
of her brother's sad end.
Thru Mrs. Quinn, it was learned
that Steed had left Lima on a business
trip to Fort Wayne Sunday morning.
He has a wife living in Muncie, Ind., who
has been notified. Mrs. Fred Osborn, also
of Muncie and Mrs. Raymond Dull of
Lima are daughters. Four sisters,
Mrs, Lottie Quinn, Lima; Mrs. Rebecca
Albright, Marion, Ind.: Mrs. Matilda Anderson,
Hagerstown, Ind.; Mrs. Mary Good, Bradford, Ind.;.
and one brother, Newton Steed, Lima survive.
Shuler and Son, undertakers will covey the body
here from Fort Wayne, funeral arrangements to be
announced later. Services will probably be from the home
of the sister or the daughter. Steed was past 50 years
of age. Steed was weeks ago he figured in a street car
collision which almost cost his life on west Wayne stree.
