Children & Genealogy: Gameboys to JibJab?

Realistically, the simplest way to teach children genealogy
and get them interested in Family History, would be to
create game cartridges that incorporate exciting adventures
in them: real world experiences from past history.
"Video games were a $6 billion industry in 2000,
growing into an $11 billion dollar industry by 2003.
The games are in 80 percent of American homes
with children, and 60 percent of Americans play
video games." Genealogy vs. VIOLENCE?

Truth is stranger than fiction. There easily could be a
Mario genealogy adventure, crossing the seas from the old
country, battle games for past wars fought by ancestors, etc.
Almost everybody finds humor in comparing current styles
to past dress standards. A "G" rated "JibJab" style
animated cartoon approach would create fun and interest.
Bad genealogy methods could be dead ends in finding clues
to find treasure rings, and on and on and on. It should be
remembered that the top grossing move of all time was
The Titanic, historically based: the boat, costumes, special
effects; earning over 600 million and going on and on and on.
