Re: Catholic parish in Brooklyn New York
I recently (last year) went to a Catholic church trying to find the same
type of information. They did NOT have anything on-line or printed in a book
that could be bought. I had to go through old, hand written pages in
different registers. I was only able to do this because it turned out that
the clerk was a distant cousin. These records were very fragile and many
were falling apart from age. You will probably have to write to the church
and ask for the information sought after first telling them what you're
relationship is to the parties inquired about. I'm not sure they will even
go into their records to find what you're looking for. You can always give
it a shot. Good luck.

Thank you,
I already wrote to the parish but they never answer me. I know a book exist
because I found it on the FamilySearch site which they have a very large
library.
Have a nice day!

Re: Catholic parish in Brooklyn New York
I checked some of my favorite websites for that sort of thing and could not
locate a copy for sale. It is extremely unlikely that you will find one. If you
need lookups, you could go to the NYC public library where they have a
non-circulating copy. That would naturally be a hardship for you, but there is
also a website that shows a person who has the book and will do lookups. I
didn't save the url yesterday, but it was in "people who own books" or somesuch.
Let me know if you need help locating it.
