Jacob Mills in 1850 census

Looking for a Jacob Mills in 1850 census either in New York or Pennsylvania.
He would've had a daughter named Mary who was born in December, 1844. I
recently found his name on Mary's death certificate but her mother was
unknown. He was supposedly born in Germany and she in New York but I wonder
if the place of birth for him is correct. I do feel certain she is from NY
however.

TIA,
Nancy

Can you give us any more details?
Mary MILLS is a rather common name.
In just a minute or 2 I found a dozen of them born in NY.
Are you really sure of the birth date?
Who did she marry? When?

Thanks Kristen. I don't think this one is right but will keep it in case.
But this one shows Mary as being born in PA. and I know her to have been
born in NY.
This one is difficult. Thanks for your help.
