Legacy: Support for approximate dates?

Legg inn av Rich Heimlich » 19 des 2004 10:37:06

Right now, based on census data or relative information that seems
suspect for approximate dates, I enter "~1945" (without the quotes) to
mean "about 1945". Legacy complains about it as a potential problem so
that got me thinking that it might support another means of this (it
really should if it doesn't). Have I just missed some formal way of
entering this?

You might try "ca1945" or "abt1945".

Thanks. Works great and now I see it in the manual. Figures. <grin>
