I just found out that, due to a misspelling I got from a cemetary that
I've now created about 50 entries with the last name misspelled. Is
there an easy way to change "McKibbon" to "McKibbin" in Legacy?
I'll looking around and see something rather complicated under the
Name List feature.

Easy. Just click on the down arrow next to the name and you get a list of
all names. Highlight the McKibbon name and click on Edit. Edit and click
on save. When you click on save you will get a warning message that all
records using that surname will be changed.

Thanks! I also found that you can do a Search and Replace, but your

I forgot to mention that the same method is really nice for cleaning up
place names. Click on the down arrow next to the place name and you can
scroll through and do edits as you want. I find that I often had (have?)
the same place name in several different formats. A town and country, a
town with state, a town with county and state, county spelled out, county
abbreviated as Co. You can also show a list of all names that use that
place name. There is also a very nice feature where you can show "Geo
Location List" for U.S. Cities. (Icon in lower right hand corner).
