Success Story

For those of you who get discouraged, as we all do from time to time, I would
like you to know that I found another relative of my immigrant who came here
from Germany in 1850. This gentleman still lives in Germany and he was able to
trace the family back for me to 1685. So sometimes it can happen.

My grand-ma was born in Paris in 1873. I got her record (free) in 1986.
This year I found her parents were married in Belgium. (I have a third
cousin from the Belgian line living 12 miles from me) Her father was born
in St Georges (east of Nancy) and I have the line all the way back to my 7th
great grand parents, marrried about 1662.

I found my Polish family in 1986, they are second and third cousins. ( my
grannie's brother married my grandpa's first cousin) I have been to Poland
6 times and am learning Polish (at 75 y.o.)
