CURLING IRON USED IN BATH TUB CAUSES YOUNG GIRL's DEATH---
Milwaukee (AP) Marguerite Prevot, 18 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Prevot of Green Bay, electrocuted herself at the home of Arther
JACQMIN here late Friday afternoon when she attempted to curl her hair with
an electric curling iron while seated in the bath tub.
When found, her body was badly burned about the chest, 120 volts of
electricity having passed through her body.
The girl was attending a night telegraphy school and during the day was
employed at the Hole-proff Hosier company.

At home to friends after June 25 atg 107 E. Wisconsin avenue, Neenah, but
now on a wedding trip are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rausch, Neenah, who were
married at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the First Methodist Episcopal
church parsonage in Neenah by the Rev. Henry Johnson. Miss Alice Rausch,
sister of the bridegroom, and Glynn Gaulky, Oshkos, were the attendants.
Mrs. Rausch is the form Lydia Klaeser, daughter of Mrs. Helen Klaeser, 107
E. Wisconsin avenue, Neenah and Kenneth Rausch is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Louis M. Rausch, 240 E. Doty avenue, Neenah. A wedding reception for
relatives and friends was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents
immediately after the ceremony. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest
Christoph and daughter Ruth, West De Pere; Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Rausch, and
Mrs. George Stumpf, Pueblo, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Russell and son Harry
and daughter Shirley, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Russell, Minneapolis; Dr. and Mrs.
R. L. Gahan, Pewaukee, Dr. and Mrs. R. L. Klaeser, Oshkosh, Mr. and Mrs.

GIRL IS ELECTROCUTED WHEN CURLING IRON GROUNDS IN BATHTUB
Milwaukee. Wis., Mar. 27 - Marguerite Prevot. 18. Green Bay, student at the
school of Telegraphy was electrocuted here last night when she attempted to
curl here hair when an electric iron while sitting in a tub of water.
A short circuit in the curling iron sent 110 volts through the girl's body.
Occupants of the house heard a screen coming from the bathroom and when
their efforts to discover what had happened were met with silence, Arthur
JACQMIN, cousin of the girl with whom she stayed, battered down the door and
found the body.
The body of the girl was found lying in the bath tub severelly burned about
the chest. The water in the tub was heavily charged with electricity from
the curling iron which was dangling on a cord attached to a light socket in
the wall.
Police Surgeon, Dr. David Mehigan, together with the west side police rescue
squad worked over the girl for a half hour with a pulmotor in an attempt to
revive her.
The girl was attendng a course in telegraphy which she was to have completed
in June. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Prevot, Green Bay.

Two Wisconsin Midshipmen Honored.
Annapolis, Md. (AP) - Two Wisconsin midshipment have been appointed top
officers of the Naval Academy's 4,000-man brigade.
Michael R. JACQMIN of Green Bay, was named a regimental commanders. He is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. JACQMIN. .....
The officers are chosen on the basis of over-all officer-like qualities
academic standing and conduct.

University to graduate largest class
About 1,000 persons - the biggest graduating class in the history of the
institution - will receive degrees Sunday in the 80th annual spring
commencement at the University of Wisconsin-Stenves Point.
There'll be a touch of the unusual in the ceremonial music of hte day.
Members of the Wisconsin Kilties, a drum and bagpio organization support by
the university will play the processional and recessional in Quandt
Gymnasiu.
The event will begin at 2 p.m.
