help reading manifest

Legg inn av russ » 09 nov 2004 22:28:40

If some kind souls would be willing to lookup a ship manifest on the
EIDb, I am having difficulty reading a name. The person is listed as
Osmer Kastrel (line 3) on the ship Patricia, Feb 1905. I am interested
in the name (and address) of the "Uncle" in column 16.

A direct link (if I didn't mess it up) is:
http://ellisisland.org/search/shipManif ... 2354170063

A fresh set of eyes might be able to make out the name and address of
Osmer's uncle.

Thanks.

Thanks all. Time to search through those names/street possibilities.

If anyone else has a different take, I would welcome it as well.

the name actually reads : Louis Dünerstein (Duenerstein). the ~ sign on
top of the letter stands for the German Umlaut ---> ü so it is NOT
Dienerstein BUT Dünerstein!
