Need Help in Milwaukee

I have been tracing a cousin whose last known address was 529 Jefferson
Avenue, Milwaukee WI in that city's 1927 city directory. I have not found
her anywhere since then, including via the 1930 census. I would like the
assistance of someone familiar with Milwaukee and/or Wisconsin to help me
move forward from here.

There are many facts about this, shall I say "interesting", person that
would be helpful, too many to enumerate here. I'll give a willing volunteer
everything I know. The basics are that she obtained her third(!) divorce at
the Milwaukee Circuit Court, from Edwin C. Hart, on February 23, 1927 at
which time she was known as Mrs. Edwin Hart (of course), Dorothy Hart (in
the city directory) and Georgette C. Hart in the divorce case files. She
was christened Georgette Clementine Moreau in Connecticut in 1887. She had
a daughter from her first marriage, Bernice Chapman (or Hoden), born in 1908
in Connecticut. Georgette had a pattern of remarrying very soon after her
divorces - so she may have remarried in Milwaukee within a year or so of the
divorce. Or taken up residence with someone - who knows? Bernice also
could have gotten married some time after the divorce; she is named as a
minor child in the final decree.

If anyone has any ideas, or if it is feasible to do a quick lookup in the
marriage indexes for around 1927 - 1930, (or death indexes?), I would be
most grateful. I will reimburse any expenses, of course.

Hi, Bob. That's about two blocks from where I am right now, and it's
right in downtown Milwaukee. Not residential any more, by a long stretch.
I could take a digital photo of whatever is there now, if you have any
interest at all in that. I don't have any ideas for your other questions,
though, seems like she's going to be a slippery one to find.
