What is the death date for Gurianna Nielsdatter, living at the 1900 census in (Aspaasen) Kolstad, Vega, Nordland, with husband Niels Pettersen, born 1844, & children Ludvig, born 1879, Nora 1881, Peder 1875.

Gurianna was born 1845 in Verran, Ytterøy, Nord-Trøndelag. She married Nils Peter Martinius Petersen Kolstad in 1873 in Vega.

Is there a bygdebok that might indicate when she died sometime after the 1900 census? Thank you.

Hey Wade, I see you calling for a Gurianna Niels daughter from Aspåsen, Kolstad on Vega. I am also researching this family. It is possible that you have already figured out this yourself, because I see that you called for this in 2008. But I'll send you at least a little about this lady.

Here you have it:

Gurianna Nielsen was born on March 24 and baptized on 18 May of 1845 in Verran, Nord-Trøndelag, Norway. Parents were Niels Christiansen Røslien and wife Ane Gudmund's daughter. This information was found on Verran: 1843-1866, Ministerialbok sheet No. 15 Hope this can help you some way.

They got a son named Peder Kristian Kolstad was born 1874, who married a Josephine Marie Alexandersen born 1875. She emigrated to America, however, in 1903 along with another lady. Since no one has heard anything from them because I understand. Josephine and Peter had a daughter in 1896 named Amanda Marie Pedersen, and she moved to Verdal which is my home community. Here she was married to Jon Hallem, and they were among others a daughter named Synnøve, who in turn married Oscar Alfred Nordal. They had three girls and one boy. The girls are still living, and they are married and have children themselves.

Maybe you have got your answer now..... I dont have the date of death for Gurianna, but she died in 1925.

I am aslo looking for information ablout this family. Gurianna was my great grandmother.
She was mother of Peder.
Peder get married to Josefine Marie
They got a daughter - Amanda
Amanda get merried to John Hallem
They got 8 Children
The last one was Margit - and she is my mother

I have for many years been looking for Josefine Marie Kolstad in Amerika. She emmigrated in 1903 and was going to Polk Minnesota. This is our last information.... she is so difficult to find !
