I have found a marriage for a Anna Christophersdatter Selen and Peder Thomassen Gotvassli in 1807 in Beistad. I am trying to find proof that it is the correct Anna that I am looking for. My Anna Margarethe Christophersdatter Selen was born in 1784 to Christopher Thomassen Selen f. 1756 and Marit Johnsdatter f. 1759. Can anyone find them in the Bydgebok for Beistad or maybe Malm?

The baptism of Anne Margarethe April 18, but here the family lives in Rendmoe farm. Is this the correct baptism? And if it is, how do you know who the parents are?

I do actually belive the Anna Margarethe you found to be the correct one. Someone else found her brother from the Rennemo farm as well. Is the Rennemo farm in the mountains?? So if their family did come from Rennemo would they be listed in the Bygdebok (spelling??) under that farm?

As far as I know Rennemoe belongs to Beitstad. Unfortunately I do not have access to these bygde books, so I cannot help you
